And the latest iteration has refinements in the development view functionalities. But, performance-wise, LR 6.0.1.0 was as snappy as 6.0.0.0. Is there any single feature or activity that will degrade LR6 performance compared to 5.4.xx?

Anyone having problems with the slideshow issue? I certainly do. I work with images from high resolution camera on one computer per project, and on a different PC on the desktop. When I work on those images from the same PC I see the slideshow on and then when I go to the other one on the network even though I’m on the same network, I’m not seeing the slideshow? It’s driving me insane! What am I doing wrong?
